Terms of Use

Kinolog is a community platform for logging, rating, and reviewing Mongolian films. It is a personal project built out of genuine love for Mongolian cinema. It is free to use.

You must be 13 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Your username is public and visible to everyone. Choose one you're comfortable with.

Reviews, ratings, watchlist entries, and profile information you submit remain yours. By posting, you grant Kinolog a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not submit content that is defamatory, harassing, intentionally false, or that infringes someone else's copyright.

Kinolog exists to celebrate Mongolian cinema and the people who make it. We ask that you engage in that spirit:

• Write reviews honestly, even if critically. Hate speech or personal attacks on filmmakers or other users are not acceptable.
• Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews.
• Do not use the platform for spam, promotion, or any purpose unrelated to film discussion.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion.

Film metadata, posters, and cast information on Kinolog are sourced from TMDB (The Movie Database) under their terms of use. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Kinolog does not claim ownership of film titles, images, or intellectual property belonging to filmmakers, studios, or distributors.

Kinolog is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, data preservation, or continued availability. This is a passion project — we will do our best, but we are not a company with SLAs.

We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, or restrict access to Kinolog at any time.

You may not:

• Scrape or systematically download content from Kinolog without permission
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit content
• Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
• Use Kinolog for any commercial purpose without written consent

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinolog and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Your use of Kinolog is at your own risk.

These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia. Any disputes will be resolved under Mongolian jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Kinolog after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date above.
